Alejandro Fernández is the man who launched Ribera del Duero on the wine map in the 70s. This is old school Spanish wine. Made from 100% old clone Tempranillo, aged for 30 months in French oak barrels, then bottle aged for 10 years before release!
Tastes Like
Amazing freshness for a 16 year old. Vibrant acidity, intense ripe fruit flavours, plum, dark cherries, earthy with hints of mocha and spice. Mid weight, powdery tannins and a long finish. Decanted for 2-3hrs.
