Mount Etna is one of Italy's oldest wine regions having received its DOC in 1968. However it wasn't recognised for producing quality wines until the late 90s due to the tireless efforts of a handful of producers like Frank Cornelissen and Giussepe Benanti. Today there are hundreds of producers who've been drawn to this region. But not all the wines produced from this region are of equal quality. We've selected 6 of the best and original producers from Etna many who grew up in the region and have a special connection with the land.
