It was a pre-Australia wine taste off! To demonstrate the impact of terroir, climate and winemaker styles we purposefully selected 2 Italian grape varietals across 6 different regions. Three of which were from Australia and the other 3 Italy. The Vietti Roero Arneis was a clear Italian winner for the evening, whilst the LAS Vino Nebbiolo was the Aussie favourite. The Vietti Barolo was on a league of it's own and won many hearts on the evening, turning those who may never had a Nebbiolo before. What a great turn out, so much fun meeting new faces and sharing a common love for wine! We hope to see you at the next one!
